Join us for the first meeting of the Bay area CalTREX at the North Berkeley Branch Library.
CalTREX is an evolution of the Nature Conservancy Fire Learning Network TREX model used internationally. The Klamath TREX has been operating for 5 years, with CalTREX as an expansion of that. The area discussed will include Monterey to Mendocino and the greater Bay area. This is an opportunity to find ways to work together to build capacity and assist each other in prescribed fire education and training.
Attendance is free and open to those who are interested in training as prescribed fire practitioners and committed to furthering skills.
