Workshop Objectives: 1) present an update to land managers on the state of fire science in the Mojave Desert since the 2005/2006 fire seasons; 2) promote communication among the primary research groups conducting fire science in the region; and 3) scope out ideas for a possible JFSP funding plea and/or a fire session for the 2015 Desert Tortoise Council Symposium or other venue.
